Midjourney is a really cool AI art generator. One of their more recent features is “zoom,” which allows users to “zoom out” of images. Essentially, you’re creating a new image around an existing image. This is also known as “outpainting.” The effect is that your original image looks like it’s farther away because it’s in the center of the new image and it’s smaller.
Here’s an example of what I’m talking about. The first image is the source, and the image below that is a “zoom” which has been zoomed out 2x. And there is a third one below that.
